Sram GX Eagle X-Horizon 12v Type 3 Gearbox

The new GX Eagle gearbox not only responds to the need to adapt to the large sprockets of the Eagle sprocket set but offers yet another evolution of the now famous X-Horizon cage. The 14-tooth lower pulley with X-Sync technology allows the GX Eagle gearbox to move easily along the whole sprocket set, using the 10D and 50D sprockets to the best, at the same time offering any sensation of fluidity to any biker of change and silence that only an Eagle transmission can guarantee.

Cage Lock technology
Technology for the Cage Lock ™ rear derailleur, the installation and removal of the wheel - as well as that of the chain - becomes faster and easier. Simply push the cage and lock it in the correct position.

Roller Bearing Clutch Type 3 ™ offers maximum derailleur stability even on the roughest terrain. With the Roller Bearing Clutch technology the jumps of the chain and its fall are eliminated without giving up precision.

X-Actuation ™, developed specifically for  the Sram 1x transmissions, the X-Actuation ™ technology allows to keep the net and consistent change over the whole sprocket set.

The straight parallelogram X-Horizon design of the rear derailleur limits any movement on the horizontal axis, preventing possible phantom shifts and reducing the force required for shifting. For a faster and more precise sprocket change, the wider upper pulley keeps its distance with all the sprockets constant.

The Sram X-Sync 1x technology ensures the highest level of performance and durability. The crown and pulley teeth of the X-Sync profile, high and square, allow an optimal and always constant chain retention with respect to the crowns and pulleys that use the classic triangle shaped tooth profile.
To ensure perfect performance even in muddy conditions, X-Sync crowns and pulleys have been designed with special compartments for self-cleaning from mud.

Sram GX Eagle 12V Trigger Gearbox Control

In a perfect world the difficulties that a biker should be called to meet when driving a MTB would be roots, rocks, mud, trees, jumps, drops and similar, without having to be distracted by the relationship used when riding. To solve this problem, Sram concentrated all the power of shifting within a single finger, the thumb of his right hand. In this way, the GX Eagle Trigger Shifter gearbox has been transformed into the control center of the entire Eagle transmission and, thanks to the modification of its internal mechanisms, now the GX group can accommodate the twelve Eagle sprockets, ensuring maximum precision , maximum comfort and unparalleled longevity.

ZeroLoss technology
ZeroLoss is the technology of Sram that allows you to change the tension of the cable for changing exactly at the moment when you are going to operate the lever, this allows you to offer any biker a precise change always exactly when you need it.

Sram GX Eagle XG-1275 10-50 12V Sprocket Set

Full Pin ™ technology
The Full Pin technology allows the 12 steel pinions of the cassette to be joined together using 136 high-strength stainless steel pins. This allows to obtain an extremely light and resistant sprocket pack, equipped with the incredible range of ratios that only Sram is able to offer. The open design similar to the X-Dome cassettes allows to reduce the accumulation of sludge, at the same time guaranteeing a constant change and a long life of the single components.

X-Glide 2 is the new version of Sram's X-Glide technology, optimized for 12-speed sprocket sets. Gives speed, precision and strength to the shifting performance on all sprockets, while simultaneously increasing chain retention on larger sprockets.

Sram GX Eagle 12V Black Chain

The GX Eagle chain has been designed to integrate perfectly into all Sram Eagle 12v transmissions, has a solid and long-lasting construction, offers incredible ease of use thanks to the PowerLock strapping and always guarantees the best change perfromance in all conditions of use.

Flow Link technology
The inner links of the chain are ultra smooth and completely free of sharp edges: the result is the perfect coupling between the cassette gears and the chain, with less friction, greater silence and long life. The overall design is narrower, able to withstand higher angles, in addition to this it has flat outer links that result in a more robust riveting and superior strength.

The engineers at Sram have developed the PowerLock® technology as a safe, durable and above all without the need for tools. Given the reduced tolerance of 10-, 11-, and 12-speed transmissions, to avoid reducing transmission performance every single PowerLock can be used only once.
