Its new design completely integrates the blade to achieve unparalleled aerodynamics. Equipped with a body and a carbon blade, the Blade Carbon is available in the CR version (axis in Chromoly +) for a weight of 110 g per pedal.

The support surface is equipped with a 67 mm wide stainless steel overmoulded plate. This optimizes the cleat-pedal contact areas, regardless of the pedaling angle.

AXIS

The axis line of the new BLADE CARBON has been completely redesigned. It is built around an oversized axle and a passing axle line consisting of an internal ball bearing and a needle bushing centered below the bearing surface. This new construction allows you to earn around 2 watts at 100 revolutions per minute.

The distance between the ball bearing and the needle bushing has been increased by 25%. This provides a greater rigidity to the whole of the axis line and, consequently, allows to improve the transmission of power.

Even the estate has been the subject of special attention. This has been improved by 120% for increased reliability and longevity. This is why the new shaft line receives a new cap with an o-ring seal at its outer end. In the internal position it is provided with a double lip seal.

CARBON

The use of carbon for the body and the blade allows to lighten the weight of the pedal, as well as to obtain rigidity for a better transfer of power. The BLADE technology is an important technical innovation in the history of the automatic pedal, as it provides numerous advantages: LIGHTNESS, AERODYNAMICS, AN EXTREMELY SAFE RELEASE / RELEASE.
